Anica Monarez graduates from ASU

Anica Monarez

  Former Superior resident Anica Janea Monarez, daughter of Angela and Ruben Fernandez, graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Fashion with a Concentration in Marketing from Arizona State University (ASU)  in a commencement ceremony held on Monday, May 6.

  While at ASU Anica participated in an internship for Caroline Cecil Textiles in Phoenix, volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale, and is Sales Supervisor for Joie (a high end modern contemporary women’s boutique in Scottsdale) for three years.

  After graduation, Anica plans to work in Washington, DC in the field of Visual Merchandising and Brand Development.

  Angela Fernandez, her very proud mother, said, “Congratulations on your hard work and determination!  Your family and friends all wish you great success in your future!”
