Troy Alan Brownrigg II, 34, passed away on Jan. 30, 2015, due to a tragic car accident on Highway 77.
He is survived by his wife, Chasity Brownrigg; daughters, Kaylee and Paige Brownrigg; son, Blake Brownrigg; parents, Troy and Norine Joyce Brownrigg; sister, Danielle Brownrigg; niece, Addison Aguirre; and grandmothers, Peggy Brownrigg and Mary Parsons.
Troy (Alan) was a hard worker, loving father and wonderful husband, son, brother and friend. He graduated San Manuel High School, going on to serve over nine years in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Ft. Hood, TX from 1999-2003, then Germany from 2003- 2006 served three tours in Iraq, was a combat engineer and fought in the war operation Iraq Freedom. His military career ended with Troy holding the rank of E5, which is specialist.
He was employed in the National Guard, in Tucson, and, also worked for ASARCO mining.
Troy loved video games, shooting guns and paintball guns, reading fantasy books, collecting knives and swords and movies, playing a role-playing game with friends called Dungeons and Dragons, and, of course, raising his kids. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious Laugh and smile. He will be missed by all who knew him but always in our hearts.
Services will be held at San Manuel High School auditorium, 711 S. McNab Pkwy. in San Manuel on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m. to noon.
