CVIT Governing Board Vacancy for Hayden-Winkelman

GLOBE – Gila County School Superintendent Linda O’Dell has announced the time line and process for appointment of a board member to the CVIT Governing Board from Hayden-Winkelman.

Registered voters living in the Hayden-Winkelman Unified School District are eligible to apply. Potential board members are required to complete an application document as part of the appointment process. Governing board applicants must also submit a letter of interest and three letters of reference, and participate in a personal interview.

Application packets are available at the school district office during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday. Application materials are also available at the Gila County Schools Office at the courthouse in Globe, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or online atwww.gilacountyesa.org. The deadline for submission of application documents is 5:00 PM, Monday, May 4, 2015.

The term of the person appointed to fill the CVIT governing board vacancy for Hayden-Winkelman will expire in December, 2016, which is the end of the regular term. An election will be held for this position as part of the 2016 General Election. The person appointed and other interested parties from the Hayden-Winkelman Unified School District can run for election to the new four-year term at that time.
