Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce

Vacations are over, school has started and people are looking for something to do.  It is time to fill out our calendars.  Questions have been asked about Chamber activities, when are they starting.  The most important factor is new Board members are needed and volunteers to help with the functions planned.

The Chamber had to cut back on hours this summer due to lack of funds and help.  If there isn’t additional help, some of the plans already scheduled will have to be canceled.

The projected calendar is as follows:

Farmers Market and Swap Meet will be held in the GKI courtyard with a $10 booth fee.  There will be a drawing and half of the booth fees will go to a lucky vendor.  Dates are Sept. 24, Oct. 22, Nov. 19, Dec. 10.  Later dates will be scheduled January through April.

The Great Pumpkin’ and Trunk or Treat is Oct. 29 with neighborhood Halloween Trick or Treat on the 31st.  The very next week NAPA and the Chamber will host the Annual Fall Festival and Car Show on Saturday, Nov. 5.  Arts and Crafts Vendors are welcome to apply.  There will be a Poker run and Poker Walk, Hot dog eating contest and a pie eating contest which was very popular last year.

The Winter Festival and Electric Light Parade is planned for Dec. 3 followed by the Love Light and Luminaries on Monday, Dec. 19, Women’s Expo,  Feb. 25 and the Citizen of the Year Dinner Feb. 17.

Pioneer Days will be scheduled as soon a Frazier Shows responds with a date

You may say is that all that is planned.  Volunteers are needed.
