The Hayden football team lost its third straight football game last Friday night, falling to Chandler Prep at home, 42 – 6. The Lobos have now dropped consecutive home games after splitting their first two games of the season on the road.
It doesn’t get any easier this week, as the Lobos host third-ranked Gilbert Christian. The Knights are 4 – 1 so far this season and their lone loss came against second-ranked Pima by only three points, 22 – 19.
Kickoff for Friday’s game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
