W.A.A.I.M.E. Pinal Mountain awards scholarship to Derek Pacheco

  Local W.A.A.I.M.E. (Women’s Auxiliary to the Society of Mining Engineers) was pleased to present a  $1,000.00 Scholarship to Derek Pacheco of Kearny. 

  Derek, a native of Kearny and graduate of Ray High School is a Junior at Northern Arizona University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.  As a resident of the Copper Corridor majoring in a discipline related to the mining industry and carrying an impressive Grade Point Average, he was eminently eligible for this award.
