Students honors presented at Ray High School

Ray Federal Credit Union presented three $200 scholarships to Ray graduates, Brett Fackiner, Jonah Code and Noah Warren. Dan Thurman, RFCU Manager, presented the scholarships.

  The 2016-17 Ray High School Classroom Awards Assembly was held May 18 in the RHS auditorium.

  The program opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Arcelia Lopez followed by Mr. Cook, Principal, who welcomed parents and guests.

  Mr. Cook also acted as MC and introduced the following teachers who presented the classroom awards:

  Mrs. Palmer – Academic Achievement awards, Eng. 4,  Shannon Pitner; Eng. 4 CP Kenneth Palmer; Eng. 3, Ema Alvarado and Jessica Garcia; Eng. 3 CP, Elizabeth Ziegler; Eng. 1, Daniela Camarillo; Eng. 1 CP, Shelby Yocum.

  Mrs. Cook – Life Connections, Jessica Garcia.

  After the Classroom awards were announced Mr. Cook  introduced the Bearcat Excellence Award winners, Kenneth Palmer and Ryan Amos, and the Principal’s Leadership Award for 2017, August Patterson.
