, 90, passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones on Sept. 9, 2014.
She had been living in Chandler for the past 3 ½ years, but lived most of her life in Superior in the same home built by her father when she was a young child.
Peggy graduated from Superior High School in 1941. As a young woman Peggy worked in her father’s clothing store and at The Valley National Bank, which is now Bank of the West.
She married her husband, Ramzy, in 1957. A few years later they purchased the Superior Dry Cleaners and operated it for 30+ years before retiring. They moved to Chandler in February of 2011 to be closer to their families, but she still referred to Superior as her home.
Having been married 54 years, Ramzy preceded Peggy in death in June of that year.
Peggy is survived by her daughters Sandra Saoud Pike (Mike), Cindy Johnston (Joe), grandchildren Ramzy and Cassy Saba, James Johnston, William Johnston (Ashley) and 2 great grandchildren.
Services were held on Sept. 15 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Phoenix.
