  According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

May 6

  Kearny Fire assisted Superior with a fire in the 300 block of Crowe St., Superior.

May 7

  Kearny Fire assisted with a fire in the Aravaipa Canyon.

  Criminal damage was reported at the Kearny Corrals.

May 13

  An accident without injuries was reported in the 300 block of Alden Rd.

  Calls not listed include: ambulance request (25), traffic stop (17), animal/cattle complaint (1), citizen assist (6), found property (2), civil matter/stand-by (1), 911 open line (3), agency assist (3), alarm drop (2), neighbor dispute (1), illegal burning (1), business license required (1), fraud (1) and disturbance (1).
