Johanna ‘Jody’ Teer

Johanna “Jody” Teer, 70, of Kearny, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 in Apache Junction, Arizona.

Jody was born Sept. 12, 1943 to Harland and Dorothy Seeley in Iowa City, Iowa. She was a homemaker who was known for baking cakes, writing for Copper Basin News, quilting and serving her community she enjoyed singing in the choir at the Good Shepherd Methodist Church in Kearny, AZ. She will fondly be remembered as a loving mother and grandma.

Jody is survived by her daughters; Sandra (Eleuterio) Gonzales and Deborah Teer; and two grandchildren, Stephanie and Daniel Teer.

Services will be held at The Good Shepherd Methodist Church in Kearny, Arizona at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.
