  According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

May 11

  A vacation house check was requested.

  A 911 hang up was reported.

May 12

  Agency assist on the 600 block of Hayden Ave.

  Agency assist on the 600 block of Cottonwood Lane.

  A traffic stop was conducted on Hwy 177.

  A civil matter was reported at Winkelman Park.

May 13

  Burglary was reported on the 100 block of 4th St.

  Agency assist on the 500 block of Velasco Ave.

  Agency assist on the 500 block of Velasco Ave.

  A dog at large was reported on the 100 block of 9th St.

  A traffic stop was conducted on Hwy 177.

  An attempt to locate was requested in the area of Verdugo Hall.

  A security check was conducted in the area of Garfield and 3rd St.

May 14

  A suspicious subject was reported in the area of 2nd St. and Valesco Ave.

  Suspicious activity was reported on Utah St.

  Agency assist on the 100 block of 8th St.

  Motorist assist on the 600 block of Cottonwood Lane.

  A security check was conducted on Golf Course Rd.

May 15

  An unwanted subject was reported in the area of Kennecott Rd. and Hwy 177.

  An open door was reported on the 500 block of 1st St.

  Dog at large was reported on the 100 block of 9th St.

May 16

  An alarm drop was reported on the 500 block of Velasco.

  Burglary was reported on the 200 block of Lower Rd.

  Burglary was reported on the 300 block of 4th St. in Winkelman.

  Five information reports were also received during the week’s activity.
