A 14-year-old New Jersey girl was killed in a single vehicle rollover accident in Kearny on Sunday. Kearny Police Department and EMS responded to the accident at the northwest corner of Upton and Highway 177.
The girl was driving a buggy style all terrain vehicle. According to Kearny Police, upon making a left hand turn she hit a curb which caused the vehicle to roll. The girl was ejected and the vehicle rolled over her.
The young lady was visiting her grandparents who are residents of Kearny. KPD withheld the victim’s name.
