Ethel Frances Blake passed away on Aug. 23, 2019.

Frances and her husband Buddy, moved to Ray, Arizona in 1952. She eventually became employed at the Miners Mercantile.

Frances was a very social person enjoying many activities and was an avid bowler. Frances and Buddy loved each other very much and enjoyed being outdoors and spent countless hours together on adventures to special places.

Frances was blessed with many God given talents, one of which was her singing ability. She and Buddy used to sing together while he played guitar and were a common site at home gatherings of friends, family events, church specials and in moments of joy and sadness at both weddings and funerals.

Frances’ passion was serving God and she was a regular Sunday School teacher as well as Vacation Bible School for many years. Her heart belonged to Jesus Christ and she was always ready to share her faith and was an encouragement to others through her daily life.

Frances is survived by her son, Bobby (Kathy); grandson, Bobby Jr. (Marlena); and great-grandson, Uriah, as well as many nieces and nephews. We dearly miss her but rejoice knowing she’s with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the loved ones who have preceded her.

Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Living Word Chapel in Kearny at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Living Word Chapel in Frances’ honor.
