Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce

The Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce is reaching out to local businesses and community volunteers as it works to expand its membership and be an effective vehicle for community development and economic growth. Director Veronica Bracamonte and the chamber’s board are hosting a potluck meal and discussion period to encourage new members to join its work, welcome new members, and provide time for communication ands fellowship.

The meal will be in the banquet room of the General Kearny Inn in Kearny on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 6 p.m.

The chamber serves Hayden, Winkelman, Kearny and the unincorporated areas of the whole Copper Basin. The growth of The Arizona Trail and the increasing use of recreational vehicles, bicycles, airplanes and motorcycles tie into promotion of tourism in this area. A brief report will be made about a joint program of southern Gila County and eastern Pinal County to publicize the area will be made.

Business owners, managers and workers are especially sought, as are people who wish to offer their time and energy to build our communities. Please bring a dish to share. Beverages will be sold at the bar.
