On Sept. 18, 2018, we lost Arthur Duane Iverson – a loving husband, son, dad, brother, uncle, and best friend.

Arthur passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family in Florissant, Colorado.

Arthur Duane Iverson was born in San Manuel, AZ on June 6, 1964 to Iver and Beverly Iverson. Arthur grew up in a small mining community moving in 1978 with mom and dad to Sturgis, South Dakota graduating from high school. Arthur pursued his education in purchasing, procurement and warehouse management receiving a CPM.

Arthur married the love of his life Bessie 28 years ago in Elko, Nevada. Throughout their years together they worked and lived in small mining communities in Idaho, Nevada, Tennessee, Arizona and Colorado. Arthur and Bessie settled in Florissant- their forever home. Arthur was working for Newmont Mining at Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mining in Victor, CO. as Materials Manager Supply Chain.

Arthur was a dedicated, hardworking and easygoing man who became lifelong friends with so many people with his generous listening and easy smile. If you were lucky enough to be his friend, he was always supportive and generous. Arthur enjoyed the outdoors camping, riding with their Razor in the hills, NASCAR & #24 Jeff Gordon, his cats Shadow and Phelps, and working on their home. Arthur and contractor Dale built a huge workshop/ motor home storage building, his pride and joy. Arthur and Bessie spent many hours building beautiful work benches. Arthur loved spending time with family and friends.

Our world will never be the same without our best friend Arthur, there is a huge hole in our hearts and all of us will deeply and sincerely miss him.
