Team Taylor maintained their early lead to take first place at the Knights of Columbus Charity golf tournament last Saturday at SaddleBrooke Ranch West.
The second place team, made up of Knights of Columbus Bob Zelinsky, father and son John and Joe Barno and Mike Rhodes finished with a 60, only two strokes behind team Taylor.
Third place, with scores of 62, was shared by Ralph Medina, Ralph Flores, David Garcia and Mark Vigil who matched Robert Bryant, Drew Kozakeuick, Sean Brannon and Mark Bankes.
"We thank everyone who supported our fundraising efforts for our eleventh year," said tournament director John Wahlmeier.
"We had Knights of Columbus from Globe, Catalina, Oro Valley, Marana and Tucson play, along with teams from the Tri-Community to Raytheon," he added.
Eighty year old Knight, Dan McHenry, of Council 12345 was awarded for being the oldest player in the tournament.
"Many, many businesses and golf courses were very generous with prizes, which have become a hallmark of our tournament," Wahlmeier said.
"We simply couldn't have this top notch tournament without their support," he added.
