On Tuesday, Dec. 4, Oracle Ridge School opened their new playground with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Superintendent Todd Kissick and School Board Chairperson Alicia Bristow held the ribbon while all the kids took their scissors and cut off a piece of the ribbon.
Thanks to a $5,000 grant through First Things First, Oracle Ridge School was able to upgrade their old playground. The new playground is covered with wood chippings for safety. New playground equipment has been added and the size of the playground area has been expanded.
