According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Suspicious activity was reported on the 200 block of Jamestown Circle.
Two separate requests were received for extra patrol on 400 block of Jamestown.

Agency assist to the Constable with an effort to serve an order of protection.
Aug. 8
A non-injury accident was investigated on Veteran’s Way and Tilbury Rd. The driver hit a power pole and then abandoned the vehicle. Attempts to locate the driver were negative and the vehicle was towed.
Assault was reported on the 400 block of Greenwich.
During the period of July 27 and Aug. 9 there were 19 ambulance runs, six information reports and one alarm drop.
