Was your New Year’s Resolution to get involved more?

Well you can start fulfilling that resolution by joining the members of the Superior Little League board at the field clean up and reseeding of the grass this Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.  Everyone is encouraged to meet at the field on Sunset Dr. at 9:00 am.  Crews will be working throughout the day.

The League is also looking for managers and coaches for the 2013 Little League season.  Those interested in coaching or being a manager should attend one of the upcoming registration sessions.

The Superior Little League will begin registrations begin on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Superior Junior Senior High Multipurpose room.  Registrations will begin at 5:30-7:00 pm.  Other registrations sessions will be held on the following Wednesdays: Jan. 16 and 30 and Feb. 6, 13, and 20.  Registration will be for all divisions.  T-Ballers must be registered by Feb. 20.  The T-Ball season will begin on March 18, 2013.  The other divisions will start season play on April 22, 2013.

Registration fees are $45 for the first child, $35 for the second child and $10 for each additional child in a household.  This year the league will have to charge for All Stars.  If your child is selected for All Stars there will be an additional $25 fee to play.  The league is having to raise these fees due to circumstances beyond their control, the additional fee will ensure that all players have adequate equipment and uniforms..

For more information on registrations or to get involved with the upcoming Little League events please contact Armida “China” Denogean at 480-215-3116 or Martin Navarrette at 928-701-7451.
