Junior Ricky Longoria recorded a double-double (22 points and 10 rebounds) as the Panthers earned their second win of the season against the Lobos last Tuesday night, 65 – 50. Longoria has been the Panthers most consistent player all season.

Longoria was 1 of 4 Panthers’ players to reach double digits in the victory. Nicolaus Cruz (11), Austin Navarrette (12), and Matthew Zavala (12) were the other three.

The win snapped a seven-game losing streak and was the Panthers’ first win since December 17, 2013.

The Panthers close out their season this week with games at Ray on February 5, 2014, and the season finale at home versus Mogollon on February 7. Both games are scheduled to tipoff at 7:00 p.m.
