Superior, AZ – Resolution Copper recently announced the recipients of the company’s 2015 Supplier of the Year and 2015 Small Supplier of the Year award. The program recognizes the outstanding efforts of companies that support the Resolution Copper project in the areas of safety, performance, environmental compliance, contract cost control and meeting project timelines.

  The 2015 Supplier of the Year was awarded to Oddonetto Construction of Globe, AZ. The 2015 Small Business Supplier of the Year was awarded to Superior Environmental of Superior, AZ. Both companies are located within the Copper Triangle.

  “Oddonetto Construction and Superior Environmental delivered exceptional project performance in 2015,” said Andrew Taplin, project director, Resolution Copper. “We hold our contractors to the same high standards of safety and business excellence that we expect of ourselves. We are pleased that both Oddonetto Construction and Superior Environmental completed their projects in 2015 on schedule, on budget and most importantly injury free.”

About Resolution Copper

 Resolution Copper Mining is a limited liability company working to develop the third largest undeveloped copper resource in the world near Superior, AZ. The project will mine ore using underground block-caving methods at depths of nearly 7,000 feet below surface. When in full production, the mine will employ 1,400 workers directly and generate an additional 2,300 indirect and induced jobs. The mine will be North America’s largest copper producer when in full production, capable of producing more than 25 percent of the nation’s demand based on today’s usage.
