Job asks in chapter 28, verse 20 – “Where does wisdom and understanding come from?” James 1:5 answers back by telling us, “If we lack wisdom, we need to ask God for it.”
King Solomon, at the beginning of his reign, asked God for wisdom, in order to rule over the people better. As a result, he was known as the wisest person on earth.
James also tells us, that when we ask of God, we must not doubt but believe that we will receive. A person who is filled with doubt is double-minded and unstable in what he does. Nothing will work out for him.
We need divine wisdom to fulfill the Lord’s purpose in our lives. Romans 8:28 says, “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, those who have been called according to His purpose. For each of us, God has not only a special purpose but also a position in His Kingdom.
Fulfill your destiny in the Lord. Receive His blessings and wisdom; because if God is for us, then who can be against us?
