by The Superior football team begins its quest toward what could be a special season this Friday. Nicolaus Cruz, Edgar Pacheco, and Eli Olmos figure to lead the Panthers this season.
“It’s exciting coming into this season and looking at how we’ve evolved into the team we are now,” said senior captain Eli Olmos told the Superior Sun. “We’re all on the same page and it’s a group of guys I wouldn’t trade for anyone else.”
The Panthers travel to Ft. Thomas this week to face an Apaches’ team they defeated last season, 50 – 8.
Kickoff for Friday’s game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
