Nineteen local artists and artisans are showing their new and original works through Dec.23 at the annual Holiday Gifts & Art Market. The one-stop gift and gallery space is located at 1880 W. American Ave. in Oracle. It’s open each Wed. through Sun. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A large selection of artistic cards and note cards, contemporary artwork, and nicely priced gift items are featured. Shoppers will find a variety of ceramic and clay pieces, glass art, mesquite lamps, painted furniture, metal sculpture, fashionable jewelry, knitwear, paper mache and candles. Also acrylic, pastel, watercolor, encaustic, and oil paintings; fine photography; and one-of-a-kind blank and artists’ books.

Participating artists include Elvia Acuna, Val Bembenek, Alicia Bristow, Jill Caid, Barbara Cowlin, Jim Cowlin, Diana Creighton, Ned Creighton, Valeska Cromer, Chris Holleman, Sharon Holnback, Elizabeth Manfredi, Carol Mahoney, Karen Medley, Susan Mrosek  Jean Robinson, Lew Schnellmann, Risa Walt, and Judy Walsh.

The gallery-market, located just a half-mile off Hwy. 77, has easy parking and is wheelchair accessible.

This is the sixth year for the Oracle Gifts and Art Market; many of the artists also participate in the annual spring Oracle Open Studio Tour.
