Come and become involved in the process of implementing the Pinal County Open Space and Trails Master Plan at a presentation at the Desert View Performing Arts Center, Monday, Mar. 25, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Gina D’Abella, Executive Director of the Environmental Concerns Organization, Inc. will speak. She is the Region-4 Leader of the Pinal Partnership Parks, Trails, Open Space and Public Lands Committee (PTOSPL). The PTOSPL Regions are aligned with the Pinal County Supervisory Districts. This committee is reaching out to all Pinal County residents to enlist their help. The League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson, SaddleBrooke Unit is delighted to bring you this very important, informative program.
Are you a hiker, a fisherman, wildlife and conservation supporter? Do you enjoy the many parks and trails available and want to see more in Pinal County to protect our natural scenic beauty? This is your opportunity to become involved in setting up a Pinal County park system.
Do you have questions about further development? This committee is a very diverse group representing private citizens, governmental agencies, developers, transportation, among others. In a great collaborative spirit, they have been considering the many uses for open land and what would be best for Pinal County. We urge you to become informed of land use in Pinal County and bring your neighbors to this informative meeting.
