The Miner Cagers and Lady Miners last week faced off against some local teams in a preseason scrimmage. No scores were kept as the Lady Miners faced the Lady Gophers of Florence. The boys had a double scrimmage against Florence and Miami. All games were played in San Manuel.

This week both the boys and girls teams were in Tucson participating in the Boyd Baker Tournament. Information on those games was unavailable at press time.

The first season games will be played on Tuesday, Dec. 3, in Ray and on Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Hayden. The boys will play at 4 and 7 p.m. (JV and Varsity) on both days. Girls will play at 2:30 p.m. JV for the Ray game only and 5:30 p.m. for the Varsity for both games.
