Iris blooms still amaze in Oracle

So last month I set our readers the task of sharing stories about how the irises came to Oracle.

Danielle Neibling, our frequent columnist, took me up on my challenge. She has reported that she has already begun researching the issue, and promises a column soon.

She also gave me some beautiful orange sherbet colored irises, which I have planted in pots. I can’t wait to see if they bloom next year.

In my wanderings in Oracle, I ran across so many beautiful blooms that I thought I would share several with you. I’m amazed at how many different colors I found just by slowing down to enjoy the vibrant colors.

I’m still very interested in learning what residents have heard about the flower’s appearance in Oracle. Do you know how they came to Oracle? We want to hear your story.
