Department of Public Safety Officers, Pinal County Sheriff’s Deputies and Emergency First Responders were kept busy this past weekend investigating and cleaning up a pair of accidents on Highway 77 in the Tri-Community. The first accident was reported at 8:25 p.m. on July 12. The accident, which involved a vehicle vs. pedestrian, happened at milepost 100.6 at the intersection of Highway 77 and Rockliffe Blvd. in Oracle. One individual was taken by helicopter to a Tucson hospital for treatment. On Sunday, July 14, DPS was called to the scene of an accident on Highway 77 at milepost 116.9 north of Mammoth.
