Copper Town Days golf tourney set for May 11

 The Copper Town Association is pleased to announce it’s third annual golf tournament. The event will be held at SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Course on Saturday May 11, 2013, registration will begin at 7:00 AM with tee off at 8:00 AM.   Please contact Fred Roybal at (520) 385-4048 or email at hot8jag@yahoo.com for registration forms and more information.   Completed registration forms and payment in the form of a check can be mailed to: 1017 3rd Ave. San Manuel, AZ. 85631. 

    First place prize will be a round of golf for four with a cart at Omni Tucson National.  Second place prize will be a round of golf for four with a cart at Heritage Highlands at Dove Mountain.   Prizes will be awarded for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and the longest putt.  Mulligans will be offered at 2 for $5.00, and there will also be (2) Hole-In-One prizes for lucky golfers.  A $10,000 prize from Aaron Franco “your Catalina State Farm Insurance agent”, and a golf car offered by John Hanson courtesy of Coyote Golf Cars.

     The golf tournament will play host to several other events on Saturday as well.  Seven additional golf courses have donated rounds of golf as prizes. There will be a silent auction held for one round of golf with a cart from each of these major courses; La Paloma, El Conquistador, Crooked Tree, La Preserve- SaddleBrooke and Mountain View- SaddleBrooke Golf Courses. Area businesses have donated  hundreds of dollars worth of prizes for raffle. Tickets are 6 for $5.00 or 25 for $20.00.  

     Registration fee is $65.00, which includes your practice balls, golf cart, and lunch. Please pre-register as soon as possible. This tournament helps the Copper Town Association., a local non-profit, in their support of the Tri-Community Food Bank, Safe Journey House and El Centro Youth Center.
