A blast from the past V1 Oktoberfest 2012

Oktoberfest Car Show and Street Fair is just around the corner. As in the past few years t-shirt sales are all preorders, which must be made before Sept. 14.

Food vendor’s deadline has past but merchandise vendors have until Sept. 24 to submit applications. Location of booths is on a first come first served basis.

A Blast From the Past VI will take place the first Fri. and Sat. Oct. 5-6 with the Street Fair starting at 12:00 p.m. on Fri.

The event includes a salsa contest, hot dog eating contest, evening movies and of course local vendors booths and the local merchants side walk sales. There will be games crafts and dance party mixed with karaoke for the children.

Drop by the Chamber office for applications for the Car Show, pre order the t-shirts and sign the volunteer list.

Even though Oktoberfest Car Show and Street Fair has been around for many years this ‘A blast From the Past V1’ is sponsored by Troy Ramirez and John Leep – Car Show; Margaret Gaston- Entertainment; Children’s activities, Nancy Hinojos, Martina Burnam and Junior Chamber members; Salsa Contest, Connie Hillian and Shelly Hillian-Huerta; Hot dog eating contest, Danny Hinojos; vendors, Rosalind Padilla; General Chairman, Bill Loehr; Angela Ramirez, Chamber Director.

Oktoberfest sets off a stream of activities for fall. All activities take place on Alden Street.
