Teodomira “Teddy” Banda Campos, a lifelong resident of Superior, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at the age of 81.
Teddy was born in Superior on May 27, 1940, to Ramon Banda and Luz Sanchez. She had two children, Richard and Donna Montoya and was a homemaker while she raised them. She later worked for multiple families in Superior babysitting children after she became a grandmother.

Teddy was a loving and caring mother and grandmother; she loved the holidays, watching the Phoenix Suns and NFL football, and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, scratcher tickets, and buying Superbowl squares which she would always win and then share her winnings with everyone. She always opened her door and welcomed everyone with open arms and a plate of food. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Teddy is survived by her son, Richard Montoya; her brothers and sisters, Maria, Carmen, Julia, Julio and Ramon; grandchildren, Anthony, Stephanie and Nicole. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many nieces/nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Campos; her parents; her brothers and sisters, Frances, Maria, Antonio, Tony and Jesus Sr.; and her daughter, Donna.
Funeral services are scheduled for Teddy on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at The Presbyterian Church of Superior on Magma Ave. Pastor Mary Jo Norton will officiate the services. Visitation is at 11 a.m. and service at noon. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Superior following the service.
