On Friday, June 17, the Superior Softball All Stars team played two games against Casa Grande to close out their season.

Despite a tough loss, manager of team Victoria Arriola commented, “Our girls held their heads up high, and played their game. They all did really good.”

Arriola is confident that next year she will see a return of all the girls, stronger and more experienced, with a deeper passion for the game.

“Great effort [this season], they did their absolute best. Some of these girls haven’t played ball since T-ball, because of Covid, so this is their first time back, and really, it was like the first time for all of them to, really play. So, considering their experience, they have come so far from where they started in March.”

Congratulations to all the girls from all your fans in Superior!
