Save the Date!  Luminaria Hike and Light Parade Events Coming in December

  Recent announcements from the Legends of Superior Trails Inc. and Superior Optimist Club have holiday events coming soon.

  On Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, the Legends of Superior Trails Inc will host a luminaria hike to the old bridge on the Queen Creek segment of the LOST Trail.  The event will include free hot chocolate and cookies on the 100-year-old Queen Creek bridge from 5 to 8 p.m.  At 6 p.m. there will be a program to honor miners of the past and present in recognition of Miners Day which is celebrated on the 6th of December each year.  The event is free to the public and everyone attending is asked to please bring a flashlight and wear sturdy shoes.

  The Superior Optimist Club has announced that it will be hosting the annual Miracle on Main Street Parade on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021.  The parade will begin at 7 p.m. on Main Street.  Prior to the parade there will be free train rides and Superior Dance Company will perform at 6 p.m.  Following the parade, Santa will meet with the children and families of Superior.  For more information or to enter the parade contact Jessica Castillo at 520-827-0098 or online at: https://bit.ly/2021LightParadeRegistration.
