Sept. 24
John P. Contreras, Tucson, was arrested in the area of Highway 77 and Pinto Lane, Catalina, and was charged with two counts of endangerment, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of criminal damage and one count each of resisting arrest, unlawful flight from law enforcement officer and reckless driving. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.
Theft was reported from a business in the 2100 block of North Rockliffe Blvd., Oracle. The main electrical breaker unit was stolen.
A deputy who was attempting to make a traffic stop in the area of Oracle Junction was rammed by the driver. (See related story.)
Theft was reported in the 600 block of South Encina St., San Manuel.
Theft was reported at the Dollar General on Main St., San Manuel.
Sept. 25
Isaac Max Mikels, Mammoth, was arrested in the area of South Rover Rd., Mammoth, on a warrant for failure to comply with a court order. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Sept. 26
Criminal damage was reported in the area of North John Adams St., Oracle.
Burglary from a vehicle was reported in the area of West American Ave., Oracle. A wallet was taken.
Vehicle theft was reported in the area of South Old Arena Dr., Eagle Crest. The vehicle was described as a dark blue 2007 Nissan Altima. It was located by Oro Valley Police Department, the driver arrested, and the car was towed.
Sept. 27
Mark Anthony Rudd, 26, Algona, WA, was arrested in San Manuel on a probation violation warrant. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Criminal damage was reported in the area of West Valencia Redondo, Oracle. A window was broken.
Sept. 28
Theft of copper wire was reported in the 2200 block of South American Flag Ranch Rd., Oracle.
Theft of money was reported at the San Manuel High School stadium concession stand.
Theft of beer was reported in the 400 block of South Avenue A, San Manuel. Taken was a 30-pack of Budweiser and a bag of peanuts.
