According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.
Calls this week included 14 ambulance runs; four agency assists; two suspicious person/vehicle/circumstance reports; one citizen assist; four information reports one 911 hang-up; and one found property report.
Written warnings were issued for loud music from a vehicle and two parking violations.
Verbal warnings included one for no current registration/off road RV plate not visible/improper riding of an ATV; one for a barking dog; one for a child restraint violation; one for a head light violation; and one for a stop sign violation.
