The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office was notified late this morning by the Scottsdale Police Department that the outstanding suspect from Tuesday’s barricade in Magic Ranch, John Bowman, was apprehended in the City of Scottsdale. He arrested by Scottsdale Police Officers after receiving reports of a suspicious person in a neighborhood this morning.

Pinal County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Steve Henry said, “We know this incident has caused our community to be on edge for the past few days and we’re glad that he has been captured without any further violence. Bowman was arrested on outstanding felony warrants in Scottsdale, so state law requires that he be seen by a judge in Maricopa County. He will then be brought back to Pinal County to answer for his crimes.”

Bowman was wanted for an incident of domestic violence in Magic Ranch, Florence, and a vehicle theft in Copper Basin on Tuesday morning. His charges are; Aggravated Assault, Weapons Violations, Vehicle Theft, and Sex Offender registration violations.
