It was a busy week for the Ray softball team, who played four games last week.

Their week began with a home game against Desert Christian. The first inning was a tough one for the Lady ‘Cats, who were unable to score any runs, while Desert Christian scored 10 runs. The girls spent the rest of the game trying to catch up, but ultimately fell short in the high-scoring 18-32 game.

The following day, the Lady ‘Cats hosted Duncan. Starting off the first inning scoring 3 runs compared to Duncan’s 2 runs, the girls were able to keep control of the entire game. The girls came out with the win, ending the game with a final score of 18-8.

The next day, the Lady ‘Cats had a home game against Baboquivari. The Lady ‘Cats walked away with their second win of the week, ending the game with a final score of 21-7.

The week ended with another home game, this time against Valley Union.
