You can make a difference in Mammoth

Most of you know me; Mayor Don Jones mentioned my name last night: Diane Theobald Planning & Zoning chair for your town for many years.. I have written several letters to the editor about making a difference.

Yes, I agree, this is a bitter pill! As it was explained the cause has many reasons. However, this has exposed the REAL problem.. Community involvement. The tax issue was listed on agendas, and the minutes for that meeting on town’s’ website.. www.townofmammth.us  This website has been set up to be YOURS. Every effort is being made to give you a voice. Yes, I would love to see all of you at a Planning & Zoning meeting! Our library is a vital part of Mammoth, and is also a source of information

Bottom line: this is your  chance to make a  difference! Let’s  improve the “Quality of Life” for Mammoth together.  To come out of this challenge a stronger, better Mammoth! As I have stated over the years: one person can make a difference!!  What  can you do? You proved last night as citizens and residents of Mammoth that you do care and you can be heard! Let’s do it, keep it up!

Notices with agendas are always posted at the Post Office (in the glass display case.) and at the town hall outside on the bulletin board there, and the website.

Come to these meetings with your ideas and we will work together. YOUR help, YOUR ideas are needed. Your voice at  Planning & Zoning, council  meetings, and the town forums, all are important! Planning & Zoning needs volunteers to fill the two empty seats on the commission.

The volunteer fire department and Lions Club are always working on activities for you. Thank you.

I missed an opportunity to speak last night. This is YOUR opportunity to step up…Will you??? Will you miss YOUR opportunity to be part of the solution right now?

Just ask and we/I will find a place for you! Did you know Mammoth has an Historical Society?

House numbers anyone?

Can small business help? Absolutely YES! We need ALL small licensed business to form a coalition. Look for  info to be available at P.O. bulletin board and other places.

To join Planning & Zoning commission Submit a letter of interest, telling us about  your talents to the town hall Attn: P&Z.

THANKS.

Working on an existing Facebook page: www.facebook.com/MammothAZBulletinBoard. Always working to improve the town’s website..

Thank you,

/s/ Diane Theobald
