Rocky Andrade

Rocky Andrade (11) and his younger sister, Sakura Andrade (4), recently participated in a few USA Wrestling State events. Both are members of the San Manuel Comets wrestling program coached by Daniel Najera.

Sakura Andrade

Sakura won her first State Championship in the Girls Freestyle Rookie 37 lb. division.  A week later, she won her second State title in the Boys Freestyle Rookie 35 lb. Division
Earlier in the year, Rocky won the USA Novice 140 lb. Folkstyle State Title. A few weeks ago, he won the Novice 140 lb. Greco Roman State title, and recently he won the Novice 140 lb. Freestyle State title to give him his second Triple crown in three years. This adds to his impressive resume which includes Rocky’s seven USA wrestling State Championships , one USA Swimming State Championship , two Triple Crowns and three National Championships
It looks like wrestling is a family affair, after all, as both Rocky and Sakura are the younger cousins of former San Manuel Wrestling State Champions P.J and John Ponce, Abe Arbizu and Daniel Najera.
