Winkelman welcomes new Post Master

Winkelman – There’s a new Postmaster in town! Welcome to Christina Corona Lopez, longtime Copper Basin resident, who was installed as the new Winkelman/Hayden Postmaster in May.

Christina is the daughter of Tony and Rosalia Corona (retired Marana Postmaster). Married to Jorge Lopez (Postmaster of Marana), Christina has four children: Tara, Monique, Lia Rose and Jorge III.

She is returning to the area after several other assignments and has 14 years experience with the U.S. Postal Service. Together, Christina and Karen Todd, postal clerk who has been serving in the Winkelman Post Office for the last eight years, are looking forward to serving the community.

Winkelman Post Office hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p..m., except 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. when it is closed for lunch. Hayden Post Office hours are from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
