Will Newman breaks records at Prescott meet

Will Newman

Will Newman traveled with the FAST team from Tucson, Ariz. to the Prescott Plunge Swim Meet in Prescott, Ariz. on Jan. 9, 10 and 11.

He swam “Personal Bests” (PR’s) in the 50 butterfly stroke (25.6); the 50 back stroke (27.5); and the 100 free (53.18).

Will broke the meet record in the 200 back stroke (2:04.81) but he missed breaking the meet record in the 200 individual medley by. 5 (went 2:08).

Will took second in overall high points at the meet. The FAST team took home the Quality Team High Point Trophy.
