This week, April 13th is Week of the Young Child, an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families. We can show our support for early leaning by working with our children at home, being active in their school life and working to ensure that our public policies support early learning for all young children.
Week of the Young Child is a time to remind us that early years are learning years and parents are their children’s first and most important teachers.
This week the artwork of Superior Head Start students will be displayed at the Public Library and Senior Citizens Center, in celebration of Week of the Young Child.
Sincerely,
/s/ Hilda Cardenas
