Volunteers sought for Caboose Visitors Center

The Town of Superior, in conjunction with the Superior Chamber of Commerce, is very proud of their Caboose Visitors Center, located on Highway 60. It’s unique looks, combined with a family park, drew over 1,357 visitors from 31 states and four foreign countries, in just the past three winter months. Volunteers put in 290 hours during the same time period to ensure that travelers were informed of Arizona’s wonderful sights and Superior’s charming shops and restaurants.

We have a new brochure that describes the adjacent History Trail of mining equipment, and we are anticipating a good turnout for the dedication of the One Cart sculpture on April 25.

We are recruiting additional volunteers to staff the Caboose. The hours are weekdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering, please call the Chamber Office at 520-689-0200. We look forward to hearing from people who are committed to serving the Superior community.

Thank you,/s/ Merrilee Kinney
