Volleyball Roundup: Hayden nets first win of the season

Hayden

  After an 0 – 4 start to their season, the Lady Lobos picked up their first win of the year, defeating Baboquivari last Friday, 3 – 0.

Ray

  Following a 3 – 0 start, the Lady Bearcats suffered their first loss of the season last Friday, as NFL Yet Academy defeated them in straight sets, 3 – 0.

San Manuel

  The Lady Miners went 1 – 1 last week before losing all three games on Saturday at the Mary Jo Goldey Invitational.

  In last Tuesday’s 3 – 1 victory at Hayden, senior Ashley Madrid had a team-high four the Miners’ 17 kills in the match. Genesis Dietz and Samantha Waddell had three apiece. Senior libero Samantha Roan led the Miners’ service attack with 16 aces. She also finished with 17 assists. Savana Roan led the team with nine digs. Dietz and Andrea Guerrero had 6 each.
