Two Arrested in Death of Kearny Man

Anthony Sigala and Juan “Johnny” Lopez were arrested and charged with aggravated assault and manslaughter in the death of Milo Candelaria on Thursday, February 27.  The two turned themselves into Kearny Police on Thursday.  Sigala turned himself into the police at 2:00 am and Lopez turned himself in at 9:00am.  Kearny Police Chief Bob Inguilli commended the witnesses of this crime for bringing forth information that led to the arrest of the two suspects.

The reasoning behind the deadly attack has not been released to the public.  Candelaria succumbed to his injuries following the attack in front of La Cantina by Sigala and Lopez on Friday night.
