MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT EVENT Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens are holding the Medicare Open Enrollment Event on Oct. 25 and Nov. 26 from 10 am – 4 pm at the Hayden Senior Center, 520 Velesco St. Your healthcare changes from year to year, and your health plan may change the benefits and costs, each year, too. Open Enrollment is the one time of year that all people with Medicare can see what new benefits are offered and make changes to their coverage. Medicare Open Enrollment begins Oct. 15 and ends Dec. 7.

CAC ARAVAIPA VETERAN SALUTE The Central Arizona College (CAC) will be saluting veterans with a series of campus tributes. On Wed., Nov. 7 at 11 am the Aravaipa campus will take part in this series of events through the Presentation of Colors, singing, singing of the National Anthem, special words of thanks, guest speakers and light snacks.The location will be D Building, 80440 E. Aravaipa Road. All CAC locations will be closed on Mon., Nov. 12, in observance of Veterans Day.
