The right thing to do

No matter where we live, whatever city, state or country, we will always see the good and the bad in everything, including people.  We’ve all seen the cartoon figures of a little angel and devil, sitting on someone’s shoulders, telling them what to do or say.  As funny as it seems, it is quite possibly the truth.

3 John 11 tells us not to imitate what is evil but what is good.  This advice can turn your life around.  Those actions we consider as wrong, we often find are also on the wrong side of the law.

In Philippians 4:8 we read – “Whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely or admirable, anything that is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.”  Let these Godly characteristics influence your thoughts, words and actions.

Study your Bible and develop Godly character in your daily lifestyle.  Try to always do what is good and right.  The God of all peace will be with you and bless you.  It seems to be the right thing to do in this annual season of loving, caring and giving.
