Teresa Louise Gonzales, 51, of Superior, AZ passed away on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 at Banner Baywood Medical Center, Mesa, AZ.

Teresa was born on April 6, 1964 in Ray, AZ the daughter of Jesus and Catalina Gonzales. She grew up and graduated in 1983 from Superior High School. She also graduated from Central Arizona College with 2 associate degrees in early childhood education (Management and Preschool). She worked as a teacher for Headstart here in Superior for 17 years. She enjoyed music, dancing and having a good time with friends and family. She was truly loved by everybody.

Teresa is survived by her mother; sisters, Sandra (Fernando) Sarabia and Anna Munoz; children, Jesus (Gail) Gonzales, Oscar and Yasmin Rangel-Velazquez; grandchildren, Mya and Jesus Jr.; and by many nieces, nephews, tios, tias and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father; step-father, Andres Ortiz; brothers, Manny and Arturo Gonzales; and daughter, Lysette Leticia.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Superior, AZ. Visitation is at 9 a.m., Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m.
