T.J. Griffin, 76, passed on to the big fishing hole in the sky on Nov. 28, 2013. He was born Feb. 5, 1936.
In his last days, T.J. could not talk much but he made the motion of casting and reeling in, and told his loved ones he wanted to go fishing. “We cry at saying good-bye. We know his pain is no more. It is easier to just say, Dad’s gone fishing.”
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Griffin.
He is survived by his children, Ted Griffin, Tammy Fluharty and Leisa Roush; loving wife, Melvina Griffin; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
They all, with love, wish him good-luck and hope he catches a big one.
