On Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 at 4:07 p.m. citizens from the Neighborhood Watch Program in Oracle reported suspicious activity at a business complex located at 411 East American Avenue, Suite 7 in Oracle. They reported an individual would come and go every day to the building, he would only stay for a short time period, the windows were painted black,
the air conditioning was never on and the electric meter was running all the time. A deputy was sent to

investigate and could immediately smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from inside of the building.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Task Force was called and then took over the investigation. Probable cause was developed by detectives that inside of the building was a hydroponic marijuana grow.

A search warrant was obtained and at 8:30 p.m. detectives made entry into the building and discovered 60 mature marijuana plants, several industrial grow lights, over 50 harvested marijuana plants and a high tech hydro system to grow plants.

Detectives conducted surveillance at the business and arrested Jarod Corley (age 46 of San Manuel). He was booked into the Pinal County Sheriff’s Jail for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana for Sale, Production of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A search warrant was conducted at his residence in the 900 block of 6th Avenue in San Manuel. Inside of his home detectives located 121 marijuana plants, several pounds of marijuana and additional marijuana growing equipment.

Detectives seized both of his vehicles and his trailer.
